o_O You should be able to find it at any respected videogame outlet. Considering it was released at the end of LAST YEAR.

Unless you mean the XBox version... in which case, it might be hard to find until the initial rush of purchases is over with.

I am going for PC version too. Playing games like GTA with a controller with analog sticks instead of a mouse is like playing Doom 3 with a steering wheel controller.

im wondering if gtasa is as messed up for xbox as gtavc was. there was a huge bug. after playing for a bit the sound died on either the ambient conversation "what people say on the street" or the music. whats the purpose of running over someone if you cant hear them scream when you do it? plus some of the textures in vice city for the box looked like psone textures.

really then why did it seel so many copies. PC version of this game uggh very awful. the only 2 versions of GTA that were on the PC were GTA 1 and 2

I had alot of fun with the PS2 version. I got it the first night it came out (actually a day earlier because of where I got it from) and I didn't go out for a week.

PC versions weren't awful. Stop talking out of your ass. GTA 1 & 2 were great fun for thier time. And GTA3 and Vice City were available for PC, although the sales lacked the luster of the PS2 versions.

As for those not wanting to get San An on the PC or XBox: on the Xbox and PC versions, the background textures are significantly more detailed, and the Xbox version supports high-definition (480p, or whatever.) (Due to memory concerns the PS2 version's background textures/bitmaps were downgraded.) Also, custom soundtracks can be set.

The PC version is the best of the bunch (as usual) because it allows the highest resolution, detail tweaks (like changing the draw distance) and most customisation of controls.

HAH, the PC is ALWAYS the best version of GTA for one simple reason.

MODS

You can extend the life of a game by years with a good mod comunity, the GTA3 engine (As seen in GTA3, VC and SA though its been inproved DRASTICALY over the years) is quite easy to mod, and provided you do it right quite stable.

Just dont try to use 1024*1024 textures or it gose a little odd.

The PC versions had better graphics, and it was a lot easier when you were on foot. The analogue controls of the consoles tended to make it a little better to drive on them though. It's a good laugh on both platforms, a different experience.

just checked and there's one to enable uncensored sex scenes with the girlfriends (yes really

) and another to open up the cities available, but no extra cars yet

The only thing you have to get used to when switching from PS version to PC is obviously the controls.. after that the PC version is better. But Playstation gets it sooner.. thus the reason I buy all the GTA's on Playstation...

Works on Windows 98 reasonably well, but hates my soundcard.

The Graphics actualy run better than VC dose on my card, wich is supprising.
