Skins And Plug-ins Control Area - Weird?

I was trying to see if my first skin - Past-Elle had been published yet, so I went to my Control Area. There, I found a sudden blurb of text that wasn't there before.

It reads:

We like you. We like your skin/plug-in. We also like beer (hint hint). We live at 375 Alabama Street Suite 350 San Francisco, CA 94110.

What the hell? If they like beer and they like my skin, then they don't like my skin.

I spose its better than popup ads tho....but in the developers area???????

maybe they are getting desparate for beer money, or working so hard they don't have time to fetch it themselves.

I dont get why it's only in the developers area....I mean the people that make the skins and plugins for winamp get to see enough advertising as it is....do we need our own ads?? Are we that special??
