External Input

I wanted to know if there was a plugin that would read keystrokes to play songs, change the song etc. I didnt see one and wanted to know if there was one before I started to make one.

The reason I am asking, is that if you play Final Fantasy 11, you know why. The music gets on your nerves after about 5-10 min. of listening to it, but because it is a drirect port of a PS2 game, it does not allow windowed mode and crashes so I wanted to make/find a plugin that could read keystrokes (/volup, /next, /previous etc.) to control winamp. I am not sure if this is entirely possible either, but any insight that you guys could provide me would be great!

Global Hotkeys is your friend

Goto Prefs -> Global Hotkeys and from there you can setup key combinations that will work without Winamp being the active program, tis rather good
