Exclamation weird shuffle-mode

The shuffle-mode did not develop really yet. But for me it's quite important after correctly loading playlists in the playlist selection

if one activates the shuffle mode, winamp 1. always begins with the first track and 2. if one clicks on NEXT, it often branches on another title briefly after it has selected one.

if you can't reproduce it how do you know it has to do with teh crossfader?

the bug isn't in the shuffle programming, its in the crossfader. perhaps if the song could fade out while you click click click until you pick one and then fade that one in?

or perhaps the old song won't fade out until you have stopped clicking the next button for a couple seconds. and then have the song fade out and a new one fade in?

i understand what he's trying to describe, and yes, i've noticed it too. esentially, if you click next track multiple times with crossfade on, then it seems to get confused and start playing a random song, and when you finally settle on a song, it seems to just jump ahead one more. very interesting. :-)
