Sync only to selected playlists option?

On iTunes, and on the old mli ipod plugin for winamp there was a "sync only to selected playlists option" that way you could control what syncs to the ipod and not have your whole collection (or else the random selection that the AutoFill button gives you - is there any way to do that in the current version of winamp? If so I can't seem to find it, or any discussion of it. Thanks!

You mean the "playlist sync" tab? It doesn't affect anything, it just alters your playlists on the ipod. On iTunes and on the old winamp plugin, you can have your playlist determine what songs will sync to the ipod.

I have "sync only selected playlists" and despite that it insists on adding my entire library to my ipod.

See - http://mlipod.sourceforge.net/wiki/T..._Media_Library

You have the option to synch the songs that are on your playlist. I guess they didn't include this on the pmp winamp plugin that's bundled?

Yes, I said look harder at the sync page in the prefs. That should be Prefs -> Media Library -> Portables -> POS device name -> Sync tab. You aren't looking hard enough.

The default action for Winamp is to sync nothing but the library (well all files that the query: length > 30). You then told Winamp to sync some play lists but didn't tell Winamp to stop syncing the library. This is why I said look harder.

If you found this then why couldn't you find the scrollbar?

If you still can't find it, it really is on the same sync tab, I can post a screen shot to aid you.
