Am I the only one with this problem

Apologies if I am in the wrong thread. My problem is I updated to Winamp 5.6 on my Win7 64 bit Home Premium Machine and ran into what appeared to be a problem with the Lyrics Plugin. IE removing the dll cured startup problem. Subsequently after using revo uninstaller to remove winamp 5.6 and reinstalling Ver 5.57, it worked till I added a Skin EPS.wal which I have used for years. The fault is not only Winamp has a problem and has to stop but a red box detailing a script error.Microsoft compatability cannot help either. Apart from reinstalling Winamp i have also run SFC /scannow with no problems found.

Tia

Hi

Please provide us with a link to this Lyrics plugin.

There's lots of 3rd-party lyrics plugins out there.

Have you definitely got the latest version of it?
Have you tried contacting the plugin author to report the problem?

gen_lyrics03 created 2007 modified 2010 Cannot tell you the Author. If you google it you get loads of dodgy sites.
I really think its a red herring as the Plugin worked until 5.6 update and now I cannot use EPS.wa because thats causing same fail. Maybe some conflict with Win7 and the script?l

the posts from http://forums.winamp.com/showthread....50#post2723050 are probably the plug-in that you've been using. alas it looks like something which had to be fixed in Winamp to resolve some issues with its own handling of embedded explorer frame has caused the plug-in to fail to load correctly and without the author to make the required update there's little we can do.
