No problems with Winamp here! Running fine on wine under Linux

I guess when Radionomy want to us to know anything they will tell us.

Please don't take offense, but would it really make you feel better if the devs started handing out some arbitrary release date that'll likely end up being broken anyways?

I highly doubt the devs have put this much work into Winamp just to walk away. Pressuring them isn't going to help the situation any.

No offence taken. This is merely to remind the new company that there are many dedicated users out there keen to hear an official update on progress.
There is no pressure at all. Just asking for SOME communication, that's all.

If there has not been much progress I am sure people would rather hear that than nothing at all. It's called simple PR. All companies do it...well most

WOW ! Has it really been that long already !?
That clock would make a nice blog plugin

Indeed I agree. Some sort of status announcement or sign of intent would be in order.
We don't need a release date, we simply need a start date.
Some sign that the wheels are actually turning.

Vivaldi have the right idea with their new browser.
It is a product for the public to use, so they are the getting the end users involved early.
The finished product is still a long way off, but we have some sense of progression before it reaches Beta.

it is all very odd. you would think given the investment, they'd want some return on it by now. I just hope at least one post buy ver of winamp comes out, with all the good work DrO has already put into it.

Nothing

I don't need a ETA, but from what has happening the last year I don't expect any good any more.
What kind of support can I expect after it's released? I think it is reasonable to expect the same support I get now: none.

No dev-blog, no inclusion of the huge fanbase, no updates, no reports on what is happening, what is promoting or slowing the development.
Just a take it or leave it.

I'm very disappointed.
