http://66.55.236.196:8000/ is now reporting:
Server Status: Server is currently down.

http://www.freepgs.com/protegechris/status.php reflects this via:

Fix: send the DNAS a source.

(Why are you using an older version of the DNAS?)

I'm not sure the SHOUTcast Server Version 1.8.2/win32 has the necessary information in 7.html

Try use the latest DNAS.

Ask www.php.net about imagepng

Check out the "See also:" section.

I'm not seeing the "See also" section.

I'm using

Dosomething plug in to generate the *.png, and Gerpok to host the image.

Do I need to use something completely different?

What me and protoge are doing is using DJ Rampage's script and hosting it with www.freepgs.com, free PHP hosting

It automatically generate's a .PNG once you have entered in all your information.

Is there a way to cut and paste text from a line in a website?

I want to take the Now Playing from my shoutcast page:

http://timmyjoe42.no-ip.com:6777/index.html

Is that possible? I want to try inserting text into my signature since the other music board I post at doesn't allow images at all.

Im sure theres a way to do it in PHP, but I dont know much about PHP. What you can do is make an iframe and place the url in there, and you can make the DNAS page show on your site.

Hey tom_taylor,

i really like your script cause i can implement my own picture

Some questions:
  • Can i add hypelinks to it? F.e. to the Homepage, to the stream with Winamp ?
  • How can i change the color and style of the text ?
  • What if the stream is going offline? It would be great to implement a offline message!

Thanks in advance!

1. The image is just that; an image.
2. More than likely yes, examine the root (and child) function(s) to see if color is part of the passed parameters.
3. Isn't it there already?

Hmm, dont know exactly what you mean (German guy ).

I know that you can not edit a image. But if you can embed the text in it than it should also possible to add some links to it and change the color of the text. I do not know much about php, thats why i am asking...

To 3.
Nope, there is no option for an offline message!

I have the code, and it works, i think that it is messed up when it trys to turn the song into a varible. here's my code...

code:

<?php
// This image you can call immediately from an html file in the image tag
// (i.e. <image src="black.php">) easy huh?

Header("Content-type: image/png");

// Fill in your own server information here:
$host = "68.44.163.113";
$port = "8000";
$listenlink = 'http://68.44.163.113:8000/listen.pls'; //make link to stream

$fp = @fsockopen($host, $port, &$errno, &$errstr, 5); //open connection
if(!$fp) {
$success=2; //se-t if no connection
}
if($success!=2){ //if connection
fputs($fp,"GET /7.html HTTP/1.0\r\nUser-Agent: XML Getter (Mozilla Compatible)\r\n\r\n"); //get 7.html
while(!feof($fp)) {
$page .= fgets($fp, 1000);
}
fclose($fp); //close connection
$page = ereg_replace(".*<body>", "", $page); //extract data
$page = ereg_replace("</body>.*", ",", $page); //extract data
$numbers = explode(",",$page); //extract data

else //if no DSP connection
$wordconnected="no"; //set variable
$peaklisteners=$numbers[2]; //set variable
$maxlisteners=$numbers[3]; //set variable
$reportedlisteners=$numbers[4]; //set variable
}

// Image size can be changed here: (x, y)
$im = ImageCreate(135,55);

// Background color in R(ed)G(reen)B(lue) below
$background_color = ImageColorAllocate($im,255,255,255);

// text colors also in RGB
$text_color1 = ImageColorAllocate($im,0,0,0);
$text_color2 = ImageColorAllocate($im,0,0,0);
$text_color3 = ImageColorAllocate($im,255,0,0);

if($success!=2 && $connected==1){

// song information is splitted in artist - title:
// This requires consistent artist & title format (no ' - ' in title/artist)
// else you can use $numbers[6] as current song info below
$song=explode(" - ",$numbers[6]);

// strings can of course be replaced with your own bla

else {
$string1= "Audio Monkey Rado (AMR)";
$string2= "Is currently OFFLINE.";

$string4= "http://audiomonkey.org";

}

// positioning below
$px = (imagesx($im)-5*strlen($string1))/2;
ImageString($im,1,$px,5,$string1,$text_color3);
// (image,font (from 1 to 5),starting x position, y position,line of text,color)
$px = (imagesx($im)-5*strlen($string2))/2;
ImageString($im,1,$px,20,$string2,$text_color2);
$px = (imagesx($im)-5*strlen($string3))/2;
ImageString($im,1,$px,30,$string3,$text_color2);
$px = (imagesx($im)-5*strlen($string4))/2;
ImageString($im,1,$px,45,$string4,$text_color1);

?>

Also how do you make a background transparent instead of white?
