Ok, I am going to have 2 different servers now, and I am hoping, since i will have 10 listeners on each server, that there is some way to get a count from both servers.. Is this at all possible?

yeah, i'm back.

You can always put 2 sigs, but you're gonna wanna shrink em. Would you rather have all of the info on one? I don't think Im that good at PHP srry. Maybe someone else knows how.

Dang, it's a shame, because I think it'd be cool if my listener count was 5/20 instead of 5/10.... darn it.

hope it isnt too long

I also made me an all new pic for the 56k stream ...yay!

Version 1.2 Now Availiable!

Wow, I've never created anything good enough to have a version title.

This is basically the same code with a few hints and a better outline so you can see what needs to be edited. There are some small minor adjustments as well so I hope you enjoy!

You can find the 3 Line code (which I use) at: http://www.ruffdawgradio.com/sig.phps

The 2 line code witch gives you 'atrist - title' on one line. You can find that at http://www.ruffdawgradio.com/sig2lines.phps

Remember that you must copy and paste the code and save it as <whatever>.php

If you have any problems setting up, please post here. Thanx

Yeah, thanks for the script. It's so much easier than radio Toolbos, which I have spent the last 2 weeks now trying to figure out and still can't get it to work.

ruffdawg, this script of yours. Is there a way I can display full song titles? Some of my titles are longer than my sig pic and won't show up. For instance, we don't have to take our clothes off will only show up as we don't have to take ou.

I believe the only thing you can do is decrease the font size or widen the image. I don't believe it will automatically widen because in a sense the text is just 'overlaying' the image.

There is a way, Festerhead does it. I'll work on it tonight and hopefully I can add in some more features. Not much you can do with a script that just outputs some text on a picture.

Does anyone want to suggest any features they would like to see in a new 'verison'? Post here. thnx.

Oh, I'm not saying saying I don't like the script. Yeah, it works great! I just wanted to know if there was a way to show full song titles when some of mine are too long to fit on that first line.

Sorry, i tried for 2 hours and I couldnt do it. There are alternatives tho. Heres some suggestions:

Make text smaller

Have it in this format

Artist:
Led Zeppelin
Song:
Misty Mountain Hop
Listeners:
1000/1000

Or you dont even need 'artist, song and listeners' in there anyways. If people were interested in the music you played, they would know the song and arist. Hope this helps.

Question: I really don't need the listeners to show up. If I got rid of the listeners part of the script, would that take care of it, or at least get rid of that part of the stats?

If you would like to take out the listeners, you would use this code:

PHP Code:

// If you wish to put song/artist in this format: 'artist - song'
// please use the code at www.ruffdawgradio.com/sig2lines.phps

Header("Content-type: image/png");

I did just that. Here's what I edited to take out the lister count in your original script:

// strings can of course be replaced with your own idea's
$string1= $song[0];
$string2= $song[1];
$string3= "";

Way to Take the initiative!

Also, you might want to move your artist/song to the left a little more, that would give you alot more space.

Someone made this image for me. Unless there is a way to do it in the script, there's no way I can move them.

Don't Forget, you will now have to re-adjust your strings. Enjoy.

Ok. I'm at a loss now. After about 2 weeks, I finally figured out how to change color of the text, but the positioning is completely baffling to me. As you see in my sig, it's showing song title twice and artis. I need to get rid of the first line and move the other 2 over to where the song and artist typing is. What do I need to change? Here's my current settings:

$px = (imagesx($im)-5*strlen($string2))/2;
ImageString($im,2,157,21,$string2,$text_color1);
$px = (imagesx($im)-5*strlen($string2))/2;
ImageString($im,2,157,5,$string2,$text_color1);
$px = (imagesx($im)-5*strlen($string3))/2;
ImageString($im,2,183,37,$string3,$text_color1);
ImagePng($im);

Nevermind. I did it myself. I just started playing aound with the numbers in the imagestring and all of a sudden, they began moving everything over. I'm not familiar with RGB. I usually use align=left and such. Wow! This is a first for me. I actually changed something that became right instead of wrong or worse.

Yes... You just make the image, and then you just put in your IP and port, into the code. then you use the positioning to get the text positioned..

yeah, i'm back.

In a more detailed explination, take my code, edit it to suit your needs, save it as a .php then place it on a webserver. Along with the .php file you must also have a .png picure file so the code can write the text onto the piture. If you look at my script, you will be able to understand fairly easily. Hope This Helps

Would anybody be kind enough to host my php script and picture? I solved all the problems in terms of scripting using Rampage's script as a base and my own image, and since the only two people whom I knew who had php-supporting hosts didn't have GD libraries installed (or so I concluded) I would really like it if some grateful soul could do this enourmous favor for me

http://web.onda.com.br/nemein/radiostat.php

What would this be?
