No subwoofer

I'm having a problem of no subwoofer signal with any music file using any media player.

but only music files, movies work great, but any music fiule be it mp3, flac or CD, it doesn't gave any signal to the sub.

I've updated the latest driver from my motherboards manufacturer website, I've enabled 5.1, and I get 5.1 from everything except music files.

anybody any help?

solved, my amp had the speakers set to large, which disables the LFE channel unless it gets a direct signal
