Hi,

I'm new here (use Winamp since 1.0, pay Nullsoft US10), from 2.73 the ID3tag have bugs, from other programs such as MP3 Info-Ext cannot see the tag content, since it's author claim rigidly he obey the standard, that means Winamp have problem.

Also real trouble was updating both V1 and V2 tags, after update the MP3 technical information will change (e.g. 44100KHz 160K file will became 48000KHz 128K).

Do Nullsoft know this?

Nullosft uses the out of date ID3v2.3 instead of ID3v2.4

They know.

Thanks for your information!

I'm not sure which was the latest , just know V1 and V2.

Thanks for your update, and I think they need to work on the latest 2.4 version ASAP, together get rid of that bug.

Actually missed this part the first time. That info is not stored in the ID3 tags but the MPEG frame headers. If it is a VBR file some other programs (older) might have trouble reading the correct file info.

anyways, I'll ren that program you listed against some MP3s and see what whianp and it says. If it is a praticular MP3(s) causing the problem you might want to post them somewhere.
