Changing details in bulk in the Media Library

I use CDBA to download the details of CDs before I rip them; sometimes I don't check them properly and I find that I've got different version of the bands name, e.g. "The Prodigy" and "Prodigy" lurking on my hard disc. When I come to import these tracks into the Media Library they get files differently. In the Media Library I'd like to be able to select one or more tracks and change common details such as Artist, Genre and Year in a single go.

i dont use id3 tags, but i think u can do that in winamp5. in the ML, select the files, right click and go to "Edit Selected Items..." (or click Ctrl-E) and then uncheck the box next to the item(s) u wanna change en masse, set the new value, and boom.
