No
Search the forums and you will see that this has been stated many times before: 1: NO Linux, or any other OS, version 2: NO Mobile version. Want Winamp on a portable? Get an EEE and stick XP or Wine on it. Member most in need of SpellCheck Lifetime Achievement Award I'm a Twitch Streamer these days, it's weird. |

Re: for linux
Winamp isn't really engineered to be cross-platform, and not really designed to work on portables. There's other apps that'll do that sort of thing for you though, and plenty of frameworks on Linux to aid the construction of anything then missing.

Audacious is good option, you can use classic skins...it loads them very fast

Kaboon, XMMS isn't really the same thing it used to be. Most distributions have replaced XMMS with Audacious in its repositories. When this hit me on one of my gentoo boxes, there was a good explanation for it and I didn't care much anyway, so long as gcc still worked, so I installed Audacious and have been very happy with it.

I love it old school.
![]() ![]() On a side note, I've been using Amarok a lot next to XMMS for my (aac) streaming since I'm still a (fedora) noob and try to get it working in XMMS (not even sure if it will or not). Although, I have to agree on the "used to be" part, there are better clients out there. ![]() |

Everything said here is quite true... but there is a winamp clone for windows mobile. it lacks all of the complex functionality (visualisation, streaming etc) ... but its still fun, supports skinning at least.
![]() Unfortunately I can not find the link since googling for "windows mobile winamp" brings up a load of crap today... which it didn't a few years ago when i actually found it :P I'll come back with it if I do find it... |
