hey guys - just want your opinion on this new project I started earlier, I did put it in my wallpaper thread, but seeing as Its starting to look like askin lol - ive started a new thread.
BTW dont start shouting at me for starting a new one without finishing citrus

- ill get that finished first, I PROMISE :P just wanted a break from it for today.
anyways tell me what u think (I know that chrome and LCD is very overused, but ive never done one, so I thought Id have a go

)

what u have doesnt look that bad, its a bit basic and there isnt enough there yet for me to give a good opinion

looks good so far, although you haven't done a whole lot yet. just to make it look a little more realistic, you could change the shadows a bit. right now, they go straight across, but the purple frame thing has rounded corners, so round the corner on the shadow.

yea the only problem with that BD is that it sorta interuppts with the song track bar...hmm, I guess I could make em a little smaller (the shadows).

Looking good caz, I like the colors used. It's a little basic at the moment, but i guess you'll add more to it. The only slight problem i see is that the eq will have to be below the main window so it continues properly.

Nah theyre not transparent - it would be too hard to make the curves look ok, plus I dont really like transparencies - not too much of it anyway...guess I could have a go though.

I have a small suggestion for the eq bars. It may be overkill but . . .

I like how your Cbuttons and on/auto/preset buttons appear to be encased in a glass tube (well, that's what it looks like to me!

). Perhaps you could make a vertical, sized-down version of this element/effect for the EQ bars. You could leave them blue on the inside, like you've already done, and maybe make the sliders a pulse of light, or leave them "empty" and fill them up with . . . um, something else.

Orrrrrrr just make it an LCD too . . .

I hope I explained myself well enough. My brain has been taking an extended lunch break.

I think this skin is great so far. Please keep going!

Looking sexy. Love the circular area and the darker areas. I've been meaning to do an LCD like that one day (what I intended to do with Symmetria).
