zygote 1.0 for winamp3 b3 out

Hi guys,

A new skin for you to play with. I think it really shows some nice features you can add to a skin which makes it more than just... a skin (Skin Configuration, Corner mode, Lots of color schemes, etc.)

It's named Zygote and it was release by breedart and is offered on deviantart and deskmod too.

man I love this skin!!
It's fucking amazing!!

I love the color controls, especially the Venesection preset, it's beautiful!

And what a great idea with the Skin Configuration, my first thought when I opened up the skin was, waaaaaaay to dark, but that config thingy fixes it to the level I want it in no time..

Beautiful work man, another winner!

Don't think it's very useful though cause it's really dark in some areas.

cremone: right click, choose "skin configuration"..
there you can make those areas lighter, it's amazing!

but did anyone had probs with ur pc speed, i mean when i loaded the laylist and pressed play it acted really slow. maybe it is beta3, i am not sure. or maybe it is my f***ed pc

Woah!!!
Circular, and pretty good at the skin. Shading is pretty neat, like the metal wear on the inner, and outer part of the skin's texture.

Wait!!!.....

I just realized something... the shade mode looks a bit like the one for my current project. So when its out I could use this post as evidence that it was not a rip in anyway.

As for the "Skin Configuration" script, I was thinking about something similar also, but in my case since my skin is already light in color, I'm going to add it to adjust the opacity of the glass layers for when dark color themes are applied.

Wow, the skin looks great, but I'm having one problem with it you might be able to help me with.

I'm running Win2k SP3 with dual monitors, and I like running my winamp on the second monitor so I can get to it easy and all that. Zygote is ok sitting there, but as soon as I put focus on the primary monitor (by clicking on the desktop, or a window sitting there, etc), Zygote moves from the second monitor to the same position it was in (upper left, center, whatever) to the primary monitor. The other skins I've tried don't do it, so I don't know what I can do to fix it.

could you update it now so that the play led/drawer/light thingy is working when you switch to the skin while playing?

since you can detect whether winamp is currently playing, it's no problem to do that..

Excellent skin but I have one fuckin question:

When I reduce the bull's eye to the minimum it's always behind the fuckin playlist. Same fuckin thing when I minimize Winamp3 final the bull's eye in on top of the left corner! It's not on the same position as before when you minimize Winamp3. What's wrong? Thanks guys and gals
