Well, a clue about what you are trying to achieve might be a good start...

Are you trying to..
Play the MP3's directly from the player?
Load MP3's to the player?
Copy MP3's off the player?
Use winamp to control the MP3 player?

Or some other action?

Well, unless someone has developed a plugin for winamp to allow you to load files to your (un-named) MP3 player, I doubt you'll be able to do it.

Winamp is a PC audio playback program, not a hardware management piece of software.

What MP3 player is it anyhow?

Its a "MP3 512MB player USB Drive DVR WMA (A01-512A)"

It came with a small disk, and the disk contained WINAMP and nothing else, so i presume you are meant to use WINAMP :S

Is it this?

It says 'no driver program required' so I guess it shows up in Explorer as removable drive.

gUSB should work.
