Running Multiple Copies, Not Instances, of Winamp
I have several copies of winamp (not one copy with multiple instances) installed on a PC with each copy cofigured differently. For instance,
C:\ProgFiles\WinAmp1\Winamp1.exe (and related files) C:\ProgFiles\WinAmp2\Winamp2.exe(and related files) I need to be able to run each copy at the same time, but I would like to be able to run only one instance of each copy. In order to run more than one copy however, it seems that I have to check "allow multiple instances". This, of course, allows multiple instances of the same file also. Is there any way I can run several independent copies of Winamp without allow multiple instances of each copy? |

Edit (or create) a shortcut to the second folder for Winamp to somthing like:
C:\ProgFiles\WinAmp2\Winamp2.exe /CLASS="Winamp 1.x Instance 2" (Note, Multimedia keyboards and other Winamp add-ons that make use of Winamp's External API will work for the first instance only). |
