Why won't it work

I have downloaded and installed Winamp3 unfortunately I can not get the thing to play any selected music stations. I have uninstalled and reinstalled and the only thing that plays is the demo upon installation

Press CTRL+P to bring up preferences window
System > Media
Under Preferred Media, select PLS (SHOUTcast playlist extension)
To the right of that, under "Protect Associations", make sure that "Register types on Winamp start" and "Maintain media type settings" are both checked off

Press CTRL+P to again bring up preferences window
Internet > HTTP Reader
Under HTTP seeking settings, make sure "Allow seeking on files over HTTP" is checked
