using surround sound card as two virtual sterio cards

I have an audigy and i want to be able to have two instances of winamp playing with one through the front speakers, and one through the back, for the purpose of dj'ing into my mixer. It seems like a fairly simple thing but i have no idea how to do it. Anyone know of a way or feel like writing a plugin?
