SHOUTcast Source Plugin
I am successfully setting up my SHOUTcast server on my Linux VPS. However I am in need of a "Source Plugin" the only ones I can find are for Windows. So here's what I'm asking, is there a Source Plugin for Linux servers, if not how am I supposed to go about this?

the word "plugin" may be the stumbling block with your searching. Plugin for what, exactly? on windoze, the plugin is for Winamp
There's many other holes in your request. generally, one sources DNAS from an external source, not necessarily on the same server - of course, that doesn't hold with "Auto DJ" type scenarios. If you want auto dj, i.e. no live content, then, of all the suggestions made above, liquidsoap is probably the best bet. If you want live content, liquidsoap is still part of the equation, because you can stream your live content to liquidsoap and it can "seemlessly" transition from playlist content to live content Is it just me or are shoutcast users getting dumber? |

basically anything that works as a SHOUTcast compatible source on the platform you want and provides the functionality you need (which is the 'fun' part in finding a source client as there's a lot of them out there).
