Not Streaming...
Everything seems to be working OK, but when I click on listen
what I get is: "[HTTP/1.1 404 NOT FOUND] HTTP://192.168.1.119:8000/STREAM/1/ What I am doing wrong? This used to be so easy, and now it's a brain cracker. I'll appreciate any help... please HELP! |

as it appears to be a v2 link, have you got the authhash for the stream if wanting to make it public? (i.e. followed http://wiki.winamp.com/wiki/SHOUTcas...ash_Management as per the getting started guides)
have you checked for any errors in the DNAS's log output? and like jaromanda's post, have you made sure there is a source connected and which is staying connected? -daz |

Yes, there's a source connected... and do I have to get an authash even though I'm only checking in my own network? I don't want to be public yet until I have everything set up properly...
This is my sc_serv.conf and sc_trans.conf ;DNAS configuration file ;Made with the SHOUTcast 2 Configuration Builder password=xxxxx adminpassword=xxxxxxxx requirestreamconfigs=1 logfile=C:\WIN64\UTILS\SHOUTcast\sc_serv.log w3clog=C:\WIN64\UTILS\SHOUTcast\sc_w3c.log banfile=C:\WIN64\UTILS\SHOUTcast\sc_serv.ban ripfile=C:\WIN64\UTILS\SHOUTcast\sc_serv.rip maxuser=3 streamid=1 streammaxuser=3 ;Transcoder configuration file ;Made with the SHOUTcast 2 Configuration Builder streamtitle=Brian Lucas Live streamurl=http://www.brianlucaslive.com/ genre=Misc usemetadata=0 inheritconfig=C:\WIN64\UTILS\SHOUTcast\sc_serv.conf logfile=C:\WIN64\UTILS\SHOUTcast\sc_trans.log playlistfile=C:\WIN64\UTILS\SHOUTcast\playlist.lst shuffle=0 bitrate=320000 |

if your only testing locally then you either need to make sure the source is set to be private or set publicserver=never in the sc_serv.conf and restart the DNAS for it to be applied.
by default most things will try to be listed (as that's the norm) and that means you'd need an authhash on the stream(s), unless you set them as private. -daz |

use something like http://whatismyipaddress.com/ to determine the external IP address of your machine and the DNAS server (assuming you've got port 8000 forwarded correctly).
