Wowza and Shoutcast1/2 Support

While I have been having a wander around here in the Shoutcast forums, well Christmas break and all, I was wondering how far Shoutcast2 support had gone.

Found quite a nice freebie so you can use Wowza Media Server to source to a Shoutcast2 server using the Ultravox protocol. Seems interesting as you *could* have an audio/video stream but then have an audio only version for the YP/Tunein etc with a Shoutcast2 server. I realise you would need to use an alternative sourcing client to Wowza Media Server, but certainly makes you think.

All these crazy technologies coming along seems Shoutcast still stands the test of time ...

This is something I bothered one of your friends about ages ago.
He always said it (or something similar) was on the way.

Good work.

So Long, and Thanks for All the Fish.
