Media Library 404

Hello. I restarted my computer due to Windows Updates. When I launched Winamp after the restart, my Media Library window shows a 404 error. I though that the Media Library page was local?

I now realize that I did not follow proper syntax. Please feel free to delete this post.

Honestly, until just a few days ago, "Online Services" would have resolved to a Shoutcast interface. This and the Podcast Directory have changed in the light of the anticipated future release of Winamp 5.9. Fingers crossed!

Correct, I could browse the Shoutcast radio stations, which is what I usually listen to. Thankfully, I have some of the .PLS files saved locally for my favorite stations. I hope this returns or there is some way to change it if for some reason I don't like 5.9 or it doesn't work for me lol

See here:
http://forums.winamp.com/showthread....nline+services
And then associate PLS and M3U files with Winamp using Windows settings (Choose default apps by file type).

Windows 10 Home, 64 bit, Winamp 5.666, Bento Skin

In addition, also try the following site for Shoutcast/Icecast stations:

1. https://www.internet-radio.com/

Thanks to ryerman above who linked to the Forum's thread on the subject.

In addition, one of the most direct ways I know of in Winamp 5.666 to save a dynamic playlist of your favorite Shoutcast stations is to do the following:

- After choosing the Shoutcast station of choice and with it playing, right-click in the soundticker display window. Go to "Send to...New Playlist." Give it a name!

- Instead of "New Playlist" you can choose "Add to bookmarks" instead.

Enjoy!

Thanks everyone I really appreciate the help! I really liked the built in station browser, I just hope it makes it to the new version, as I'm spoiled lol.

Hmm, strange. How long has it been a 404?

http://client.winamp.com/services is supposed to show the Shoutcast Radio In Winamp service.

Hopefully we can get this fixed asap.

For now, use the workaround in ryerman's above post to add

http://directory.shoutcast.com/scradioinwinamp

(https:// probably also works)

Since I reported the Podcast Directory referencing Winamp 5.9 a few days ago. I figured you knew and it was all part of the same issue.

It has been like this for about 4 days. The workaround worked perfectly, though! Thanks to everyone who put up with my original improper post etiquette lol.

Confirmed - yowza! The workaround worked just fine but I'm sure I'm like others who appreciate it when things work the way we're used to them working!
