Vis Window Problem

When ever i play CD's in Winamp the Spectrum Analyzer eventually stops showing movement and it tries to search like when you switch from Oscilliscope to Spec A. What the hell is goin on.

Have you tried to fine tune buffer settings on waveOut and/or DirectSound ?

Spectrum Analyzer get pcm data after dsp processing and its the same data on buffer output. So if the spectrum aren´t working well I would suggest you to check if output buffers have enough size and if they are being full filled with data.

I think my last post wasn´t good.

Before look the buffer behavior, It is better you tell your CD config for "Digital Audio Extraction" and "Sampling" settings.

Ok well, I remember posting a thread a while ago saying that the SA was out of sync, and DJEgg said it had something to do with buffers, but i went away for a while and I lost the thread.
The thing is I dont know how buffers work or how to use them,

Theres so much I dont know about WinAmp that id like to learn. Where can I find information on how it all works?
