No more drag-drop-select-move list ordering?

Using v5.622 with Windows XP, I wish I could drag different .flac and .mp3 files from Explorer into the local media window and assemble a play queue sequentially, from first-track-dropped to last-track-dropped, as on older versions of winamp. I also wish I could select dropped items and move them up or down the queue experimentally, as on older versions.

Can't I use drag-drop-select-move up/down to assemble and fine-tune a play queue order from tracks dropped into the local media window? 5.622 orders tracks every way but according to my choice.
