This isnt a bug with Winamp, its with Windows. Try this Microsoft Online Support. I know its Microsoft, but they can help. If you choose not to, there must be a fix somewhere. Check the Windows Update page.

How can this be a bug in Windows, exactly?
He wrote "right click - rename playlist", that's the menu entry you get after right-clicking a playlist in the PL.

Anyhow, I've tried this and it didn't happen here, are you using build #488(Final)? If so, did you perfrom a clean install? It's very important to do this, otherwise weird things might happen.(typically nothing should happen, but apparently things Do happen)

Well, the way aaronm described his problem was that he renamed a playlist. From that the conclusion was that he renamed them in a folder somewhere on his HD.

Winamp buld etc...

The build is 479.

This is nothing todo with the OS/Shell The original point was renaming a playlist in the playlist window. Then left clicking off, it could be to play a song in winamp. It seems that when you do this it does not rename the playlist in the playlist window. Now if I only use the Keyboard and press Enter when I'm done renaming then the new name stays.

Hope this helps you.

Like I wrote in an earlier post, use build #488.
