80070057 Error playing 5.0 FLAC file

ok, first things first. i know there are 49369347569739406034734092795^10 million of topics regarding 80070057 Error only since stone age but i think this one is a bit different.

You see, i've exported with DVD Audio Extractor a 48000 Hz, 5.0 DTS Audio Stream from Opeth's Watershed bonus DVD into a FLAC file at 24-bit (just to play around with the settings) and when i tried to play it on Winamp (v5.572), it crashed throwing a 80070057 Error. Then i upgraded to v5.582 (which i'm currently using) hoping it was solved, and no, it threw the error again. Then i tried coding it at 16-bit and the Error kept coming and then i coded it again Stereo and it played correctly.

To make myself sure it wasn't a format issue (you never know) i did the same, but coding it into a Wav file and again the 80070057 error showed up. And to make myself completelly sure again it wasn't a format issue, i played both 5.0 FLAC and WAV files on another media player (Media Player Classic) and it played correctly.

¿Is there a way it can be fixed? BEcause it looks like it doesn't recognize 5.0 Audio files.

PS: ¿Do i rly need to provide all the info you ask for this one?
