Plug-ins?

Thought I would try some plug-ins so I startd with and EQ. Downloaded and ran the installer, went into options/preferences/'DSP/Effect' and made sure it was selected. So the next time I started WinAmp I noticed the EQ flash-up on the screen before themain WinAmp GUI, but that was it. I still only have the original EQ at the top of the screen and can find no way of using the one I downloaded. I have checked all the options and looked in the help' but cannot find any info on this.

So ?????.

Thanks

Plugin support is mainly handled by the developers of those plugins.

Obvious things to check...
How OLD is that plugin? And is it supported any more? Many of those plugins listed are ancient and unsupported. Often features are now in Winamp itself.

It would also help if you named the pluggin you are having problems with as well as listing the other Pluggins you are using.

Its form a guy called nevi_, its v1.6 of his EQ. It comes up on the first page when you select browse plug-ins, so I assumed it was failrly new, turns out its from 2009.

Its the only plug-in I have tried, as I said I thought I would just try out using plug-ins. Yes I can contact the dev, but I thought it was probably me doing something wrong in WinAmp, rather than it being a plug-in specific problem.

OK it was being an idiot
