installed plugin dont appear

problem with : lyrics plugin (http://www.lyricsplugin.com/)



i installed new winamp version and then immediately install this plugin on my fresh installed winamp .
but when i run winamp , this plugin don't execute.

after installation there is "gen_lyrics.dll" in "C:\Program Files\Winamp\Plugins" but when in go to "winamp-option-prefrences-plugins-general porpose" i can't see this installed plug-in in list !
it seems this plug-in not installed .

it's because it's missing a dependent dll (MSVCR71.DLL).

either you can try to contact the author to get them to redistribute it in the installer
or
get the author to provide you a copy of the dll
or
you can google for a download of the dll
or
use an existing copy of the dll from your machine and place it in the root of the Winamp directory.

not a problem. i'll log this as something else to add to the One for Nunz plug-in as i think it could be useful to add in a report which shows dll dependency issues with installed plug-ins as this has cropped up a fair few times as a lot of plug-in developers don't seem to check the dll's their plug-ins depend upon with http://www.dependencywalker.com/ for example.

another problem !
when i installed this plug-in everything was ok !
but this plug-in dont start again when i restart winamp(when i close and then re-open winamp)
it need to restart this plug-in everytime after restart winamp !
why ?

you'd really need to contact the plug-in author for such things if it's not remember its view state as there's not much we can do if the issue is inside the plug-in itself.
