Audacity modifed flac file crashes winamp

I had flac concert files in which the sound level was pretty low. I imported the files into Audacity and amplified the sound which was a vast improvement. I exported the file as flac flies and saved over the original. When I opend winamp it crashes due to the new files. I have no problem with playing and retrieving the file in Jet Audio or Windows Media Center. I then proceed to uninstall winamp and reinstall. Once I tried to import songs to the library, winamp crashed. Once I removed that folder from the library I was fine, all other folders were added to the library. I can right click on the modified files and choose winamp to play the flies, I just can't add them to the winamp library. Where as with Jet Audio and Windows Media center I am not have that problem. Any ideas.

Hi

Please confirm that you are using Winamp 5.35 and Nullsoft FLAC Decoder v2.01

Are you using ANY extra 3rd-party Winamp plugins?

What is your Windows OS?

What are the details of the crash / error message?

Please could you zip up and upload a sample file to eg. sendspace.com or mediafire.com and post the download link here (don't worry if it says 'url submitted by user' in your post here, as that is just part of the forum antispam policy for anyone with a Junior Member status - but admin/moderators can still see the url).

Hmm, strange...

The sample file plays perfectly ok for me, and also adds to the ml, no crash.

I'm not sure what else to suggest, other than a clean install with no 3rd-party plugins.

Thanks again for your assist, I reinstalled again and deleted the plug in, I am still able to play the track but not import it to the library without crashing winamp. I will try to enhance another file with Audacity and see what happens.

Thanks

Not a winamp problem, I deleted the folder and used Audacity to amplify files and then added them to library without a problem. Thanks again for the assist.
