[GNU/Linux] Song + Artist ? A FINAL solution ????

I make many tests to try to have the song & artist. My Results :

I add the line TitleFormat in sc-serv.conf. the icon is the result in the Navigator Interface :

TitleFormat=Test: %s

Stream Title: Test: Claviceps
Current Song:

TitleFormat=%a %t %s

Stream Title: 0x1.698460816cc49p-895 %
Current Song:

Well what is the real solution ? I read many many many threads and nobody have a good solution (just the solution by defaut in the .conf).....

Skog, what are you doing in sc_serv.conf ? Never seen this

Usually, the shouter (the source) is in charge of sending the appropriated data. In fact, some shouters I used weren't able to send data correctly especially because they sent them to the wrong port...

Which shouter did you finally choose ?

For the shouter : oddcast-jack. Didn't you read my wonderful tutorial ?

Hum, if it's a wrong port, which port should I open ? I don't see any port information in the oddcast-jack .cfg.

Yessssss, I saw this marvelous tutorial but I was so impressed ...
According to this, the title is sent on PORT and the data are sent on PORT+1.

Skog,
I don't know Oddcast much more. Perhaps should you ask in Oddock's forums.
From experience, I just report that some shouters don't send the ICY data on the proper port. That's all. Don't check your firewall for that. It is more probably a coder issue.

Unfortunately, I saw 20 topics on their forum with the same subject (Request song down) and there is zero answer at each time....
Well, I renounce ! I've a sore head !
