what's a great music genre?

What do you think would be a great type of music I can play in a small bar? We want to catch the attention of the corporate workers and executives. the resto is cool, cozy and small with just about 6 small tables. I plan to play acoustic in some days.

Slow and Jazz music will be a great genre for the appropriate bar you want.

The 80s is a great music genre I relax when i listen to my 80s collection.. I used to drink in a bar that played nothing but 80s.

I love all kinds of music. The rest of the story is empty after the music you hear sound good and exciting.

What are the other bars playing in the neighborhood? If you know that, then pick something else (that your customers would still like). And brand your bar around that (then it will stand out from the crowd and attract the people who like the genre you went for).

Examples: If all the other bars are playing modern pop, then go for music from the 80'es or jazz. And if all the other bars are playing hip hop, then do modern pop.

Good luck and do let us know how it goes!

Its obviously going to be something a bit more down-tempo.

Maybe have a jukebox and let the people decide? ... You also earn a bit of extra cash from it
