Problem connecting to !sid=1

Hi all,

Today i set up my first Shoutcast v2 server.

I have a 56k source to sid 1 and a 192k source to sid 2.
sid1 = encoder - MP3 @ 56 kbps
sid2 = encoder - MP3 @ 192 kbps

Listening with Winamp to http://url:port/listen.pls?sid=1 is hear the 56k stream.
Listening with Winamp to http://url:port/listen.pls?sid=2 is also hear the 56k stream.

In both cases logging is showing:
"2014-05-31 22:45:06 INFO [DST xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx sid=1] SHOUTcast 2 client connection accepted. User-Agent: `WinampMPEG/5.63, Ultravox/2.1', UID: -186645072".

So connecting is always made to sid 1.

I also tried : url:port/stream/1 and url:port/stream/2 with same result.

Any clues, i'm lost.

Regards,
Piratenhits

I could be wrong but your stream URLS are incorrect.

File1=http://185.24.222.103:8014/stream
File1=http://185.24.222.103:8014/stream/2/

I never setup different bitrates before, only different relays.

But to me it looks like /stream/2/ should be /stream2/ maybe?

Are you using centovacast or some some auto dj program ?

[playlist]
NumberOfEntries=1
File1=http://185.24.222.103:8014/stream
Title1=Piratenhits Internetradio
Length1=-1
Version=2

[playlist]
NumberOfEntries=1
File1=http://185.24.222.103:8014/stream/2/
Title1=Piratenhits Internetradio
Length1=-1
Version=2

the links in the playlists from the DNAS appear ok and should be offering up the different stream instances correctly.

however as that is not happening, i'd have to suspect there's something not right with the DNAS configuration being used (something with the streampath entries not being correctly done or causing a conflict on the lookup which is done).

so the best option is to provide a copy of the config file with _all_ passwords and authhashes removed from the file before posting it.

*bump*

without the information requested above, it's not going to be possible to fix this issue for the updated DNAS build we're looking to release very soon...

ok, have reproduced the issue and is due to the way that /stream/x/ is used as a special case for the default streampath handling which in your case of using /stream and having 2 streams (with #2 not having a specific streampath specified) is causing the /stream/x/ handling to be incorrectly matched as /stream no matter what. will get that fixed for the next public build.
