Nameing a Playlist
Hello,
When saving a new playlist, a always name it with a number. e.g. 354 Thats because I'm using a remotecontroll to get a new playlist. But I would also like to add the band/group name after the number, but when I named the list e.g. 354 Pink Floyd, it will not open. Do I have to type the name in a specific way? In advance, Thank's 2re ![]() |

Sorry for my bad English, I'll try to explain "better"
After I've saved and named my playlist; 354 Pink Floyd, the list will not show up in the playlist-window, when I'm typing; (only)354, on the keyboard or the remotecontroll. I know it's because I'm not typing the letters, but since my remotecontroll do not have a keyboard, I hope it would be possible to open it, by only typing the number and not the whole filename. There must be a way to type the filename, so that WinAmp ignore the letters. At least, I hope so. If this make no sence, please excuse me again 2re Hopefully the atachment will help a bit? ![]() |

you can't do that
the file extensions use letter's e.g. .mp3 .m3u etc not even a plug-in for winamp will allow for that you'd need to make a windows shell modification...which is illegal lots of work....and illegal purposes if you can...just save the playlists without the letters..and windows should add the file extension itself ...I hope I'm understanding what your trying to say |

Oh sorry for the "lost" attachment.
Yes, I know that the .m3u must be at the end of the name. But I would like to name the file: 354 a band name typed at a way that winAmp will not recognice.m3u Is there a way we could chat? 2re |
