Linking dmx512 to songs in winamp

Hi,

If I have created a specific light show for a specific song in winamp, how do I link it so when I play the song it automatically plays the correct light show?

I have heard you can use the time code of winamp to do this - can anyone explain how?

Thank you

I think you could use AVS to generate visualisations on the fly for a dmx512.

i've seen a demo for an AVS light show years ago.

(but unfortunatly you need probably need programming experience and AVS experience)

source code is here(has laser projects included as it seems)
http://www.nullsoft.com/free/avs/

other than that only a plugin can flick on your light show and I don't know how the dmx512 works.

[edit]
I googled dmx512, and yeah it has nothing to do with what I wrote above... but an avs laser show would be cool anyway right?

i don't know any plugins that can run another program at a certain time in the track(not to say that their isn't any)

things like alarm clock plugins can run programs at the end of the playlist and such. so maybe someone has an idea.
