Loading playlist WITHOUT randomizing?

I've spent over an hour searching the help sections and the forums but I just can't find an answer to this one. What I like is to be able to mark multiple songs, right click to Play or Enqueue them and still keep them in the order the artist intended them to play. It seems everybody here keeps asking for more randomizing of their playlists. I want it exactly as on the album. I want it boring, I'm old and conservative.

Problem is it's quite impossible for me to turn this constant shuffling and randomization off. I've been fiddling with this fancy feature "jump to file" and have absolutely no idea what it's supposed to do for me. Checking the boxes in the "enqueue control options" has no apparent effect as far as I can tell.

Thankful for any support! I'm going nuts here.

Alt+Click (or select and hit 'Q') on any file you want to play next, even if you have shuffle on.

Well I can't see any system in it. I think Winamp keeps some of it in order but randomizes a big part. I just tried loading up an album with the songs named with numbers first, e.g. "01-Hung up", but Winamp still randomizes some.

Come to think of it, I don't want Winamp to sort my list in alphabetical order, song tags or anything similar either way. I want it to stop messing around with my song lists. Just add it like I marked it please! Dagnabit.

I don't think I can live with this anymore. Maybe I have to go back to Media Monkey even though it keeps crashing on Vista. Media Player doesn't play FLAC and APE so it's out. There seems to be nothing out there for me. Blah.

Yep. I think the only way to sort the songs are to click on sort and chose the option where winamp sorts the songs like in the directory. This has to be done every time I add new media. Such a shame since winamp in most aspects is a very competent media player. It's time to try out iTunes I guess?
