Wifi sync "flashing" on PC
I have got a problem with connecting my Samsung Galaxy gio (GT-S5600) to my pc via wifi.
When i pressed discover for the first time it found my phone, but when i pressed connect it returned to the screen with phones and the QR code in it. After a few seconds it found my phone again without pressing discover, and again after a few seconds it returned to the main screen. It has done that for about 10 min now. I dont get any kind of a prompt in my phone or anything. Keeping the phone "awake" didn't work, nor rebooting PC and the phone. I am using Vista x64 and the free version of winamp. Android version is 2.3.3 |

Updating Winamp Android app to version 1.2.10 fixed it.

Has anyone found a solution?
I am having some difficulty connecting my phone to wireless sync. I am able to get the phone to show up in the discovered area, however, it will not go any further than this. Double clicking or clicking the “attach” button doesn’t send a message to the phone. It says “connecting” and then goes back to the picture of my phone. Also, when in the discovery window, it flashes back about every 5 seconds to the screen that appears with the QR code (as if it doesn’t see any phones) then goes back to the picture of my phone within a second. I tried turning on media streaming, no dice. I tried reinstalling both the phone app and the desktop software, same problem. I am wired into a wireless router on the same network as the phone. I tried connecting a Linksys USB wireless NIC but no change. My info is below. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Any additional questions welcomed PC Information: Winamp version: 5.623 standard, fresh install, typical settings OS Name: Microsoft Windows 7 Professional Version: 6.1.7601 Service Pack 1 Build 7601 System Manufacturer: Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd. I'm having the exact same issue with my Galaxy Ace. I'm running the latest version of WinAmp Pro for Android and the same on Windows Vista. All the months i've had my new Galaxy, i've not been able to "Attach" my phone via WiFi a single time. Running Android 2.3.3 on Samsung Galaxy Ace with Winamp Pro 1.2.12 on PC i'm running Vista with Winamp Pro 5.622. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance :-)

Same issue with a Samsung Galaxy Plus GT I9001 (firmware 2.3.5), app version 1.2.12 and using Winamp 5.622 on the desktop (Win XP). Judging by all the above posts, this seems to be an issue with Samsung phones.
