I use winamp 5.666 to watch videos in wmv format.
I have a problem:
when playing videos (wmv) to pause the video and resize the player window, the player window is displayed in green, I use windows xp
I do not know why, but with earlier versions of Winamp does not happen.

The part of the list that shows the different plug-ins is missing. The only thing that I can think of it that you have a third party video plug-in and it is causing problems with Winamp's default video plug-in. Did you install a plug-in that did not come with Winamp?

Anyone else with ideas or suggestions?

I am not seeing anything in the report that would explain what is causing the issue. What happens if you try playing the files in other players as MrSinatra asked?

No problems with VLC and WMP, only with winamp

were there any DirectX related errors when running the Winamp installer? as that's the only thing i can think off if it's ok when windowed (first screenshot) but not when fullscreen (second screenshot).

so i'd suggest re-running the 5.666 build 3516 installer (see http://forums.winamp.com/showthread....74929#download) and apply the dll patches (see http://forums.winamp.com/showthread.php?t=156839#known2 which has not been done from looking at the file versions listed above) and see if that makes any difference.

if it doesn't then you can also trying to make sure you're running the latest supported video drivers for your setup. though if that doesn't help then there's not too much else to suggest as Winamp has never been that great at video support.

Everything is ok, if the vídeo is playing, I can change the size of the window.

when I installed winamp no problem, I just had to install directx, because it was not installed.

I already removed the winamp 5.666 and have tried different installers many times but no solution.

should I remove and reinstall directx?

try re-running the 3516 installer like mentioned above (no need to remove) as we fixed something it requires for install over the weekend which may help (though i suspect not, but it's worth a try).

you just need to run the installer first (from the first link) and then do as it instructs in the linked post for the dll patches (one involves manually copying a file in to the Winamp\Plugins folder and the other is another installer).
