Song played several hours/days ago appears in History

We seem to be experiencing an issue where, on occasion, songs are being displayed in the history that are not currently being played, but were played say 18 hours ago, sometimes a day or two ago.

Thoughts?

The history displays only changed streamtitles. So if your source doesn't changed the streamtitle, so you will not get a new history entry. Maybe some mp3-files are not tagged with id3-tags?

The songs are tagged properly. So let's say I am playing a promo, and my next song is Led Zeppelin - Stairway to Heaven. The promo appears on History, then, for instance, that is followed in History by Steve Miller Band - The Joker (which is a song I played 18 hours earlier), then after a few moments, it switches to the actual song in the history which is Led Zeppelin... so history looks something like this:

Played @ Song Title
16:24:52 Led Zeppelin - Stairway to Heaven Current Song
16:23:57 Steve Miller Band - The Joker
16:23:27 Promo

"The Joker" was not played at this session, but was played 18 hours ago (or even 2 days ago, for that matter).

As I pointed, the DNAS history displays only changed streamtitles. Check your source! I never noticed this issue with Liquidsoap or sc_trans as source on Linux. Maybe you have some wrong tagged files or your source has an issue while passing over the streamtitles. Check the log-files of your source, maybe you can find there more info on the timestamp, where the streamtitle was changed.

maybe a dnas system time issue? or some kind of wierd time difference between the source and dnas? never seen this one either.
