![]() functionaility will remain very simple and useable by using a tray for the tail of the unit, which slides out on mouseover to reveal player controls, the time display will be held in its jaws like a blue fuse, what you think?, certainly not another handheld player or stereo eh? |

gfx are amazing. i really like it, but i don't think it will be somthing that i will use to be honest. but it would be cool to show off winamp3 to my friends

true it wont be very useable, but rest assured, there will be three modes, crawl (shown), cornered (huddled in the corner in a cool way), and remote, which will probably be used when not showing off wa3, and will be more functional then stylish.

just some concepts
AVS:
considering the limitations in mind with the current skinning engine, would it be possible in maki, to set a specific colour in a container to use overlay mode of a pixel duab'd avs?, also, would that effect be useable behind the playlist text?. Backgrouns motion: Another question is, can the base layer be animated with LayerFX?, if so, would alpha blending still work? Mousedrag/Bumpmapping: given the current engine, is it possible to use the cursor over the skin as a light source, like in flash where on mouseover the light source locks to cursor? Any help apreciated, tnx |

that skin looks amazing man!
not very useful though, no. But on the other hand, this is the kind of skin that will show all Sonique-is-so-much-better/nicer-in-skinning-and-style people that Winamp3 can do really cool stuff with it's skins. Off topic but:
RayDream, you made the skin fe2o3 if i'm not mistaken. I think it would be awesome if you took the scheme of that skin, and made a WA3 skin out of it. The way that you used the transparency in that skin made me fall out of my chair when I was cruising through the skins section on the main page. So in a similar way, use the metallic texture with the hole look in it, with the blue mixed in. This would be an awesome skin. The reason I say this is because fe2o3 is the skin I use on WA2, and now that WA3 is coming out soon, I want a similar skin for it ![]() (with a WA3 flavor to it, not just to use a skin convertor). thanks, Matt |

congrat, this is very, very nice. for the avs thing you asked, there is a way that I thought a while ago. Just create a layer that will go on top of the rest of your objects in the layout, .. and via scripting, when a component opens, if it's the avs, show the layer, and if a component close and it's the avs, hide the layer ... the layer will have to be a color your not using in your skin (I guess the pink(tm) color would be a good choice). it'll be the region in which the avs will go ... then you set up your avs to use color overlay, and select the pink color or any other one. move that from concept to skin now peace |

I hope this question wasnt asked already, but is that purplish stuff in the 'fuse' going to be flowing. I think that would look super sexy, especialy if the light on the bottom changes in intensity with it. I'm not sure if this is possible, but I think it would be with animations. I personaly would mind a larger download for this either, cable kicks
