wireless connection

I am on the North Shore of Kauai, on a laptop, using a Verizon wireless air card. The speed up here is not broadband, it's what Verizon calls NationAccess, which seems pretty slow, as far as the connection. When I try to stream music, with this connection, it breaks up, always buffers, etc.. What can I do to have continuous music?

You need to test how slow it really is, www.speakeasy.net/speed if you have less than 64k upload speed forget it! Since each listener will use whatever rate your are sending at, for example 32k stream, means to listeners if you have 64k upload, and then your internet access would suck ass. Also trying over a cellular network may be against your TOS (terms of service) with the provider, you might want to ask before you let out the wolves.
