Bravery or Death Wish?
20-Year-Old Student Becomes Police Chief of Mexican Drug-War City.
Chihuahua, Mexico; a state embroiled in a long, violent drug war. In the north is Guadalupe Distrito Bravo, a city so bad that not a single person wanted the office of Police Chief. Who would want to when there is so much killing going on and not even the Mexican government can deal with correctly. Guadalupe’s former mayor was assassinated in June 2009, and local police have been kidnapped and murdered. In the week leading up to her taking office 8 people were killed. http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-504083_1...44-504083.html Enter Marisol Valles Garcia age 20, 4 assault rifles, 2 handguns, and 13 cops. If you pray, you should do it. I am. She is the new police chief, an office vacated by everyone who held the office getting killed by drug lords. If she doesn't get herself killed, she's the cop for 9000 decent, farming Mexicans that got tangled up with gang warfare over their road. Their road is a smuggling route to Texas. May the Lord or 9000 farmers keep her safe. Last edited by rockouthippie; 25th October 2010 at 12:07. |
