How do I print mp3 files into text?

I want to print a list of all my mp3's but I don't know how to just
print it in plain text.

You can generate a HTML playlist file. By clicking the "misc" button in your playlist and select "misc opts -> generate HTML playlist". (hotkey: CTRL + ALT + G). Then you can easily copy & paste it into a text file.

You can save your list as a .PLS or .M3U file (List button -> save) and open that with notepad. It will contain all the songs in your playlist in text format.

There's another way using dos, generate a list of all mp3's in your directory. I've forgotten how to do this. But that will be generated from the extensions that means that it will include ".mp3". And it's not the best way to do it.

And I think that there are some plug-ins / (id3 tagger)programs that do the same as above. But I don't use such programs, so I can't tell you more about that.

From a dos prompt you can use something like.....

dir [folder path] > C:\mp3list.txt

or even better.....

dir [folder path] /ON /A-D /B > C:\mp3list.txt

.....to make a pretty neat list. A quick search & replace in notepad will get rid of the .mp3 suffix if you don't want it.
