Nullsoft Disk Writer plug-in v2.12 problem
I'm playing songs from a playlist and I have Winamp set in "repeat" mode, so that it will play these songs over and over again. Every time it goes to play a song that has already played, it keeps coming up with an "informational" message dialog box; File: "C:\Temp2\%filename%" (it puts the actual filename in there) already exists. Overwrite ?"
I'm getting darn sick and tired of having to keep telling it to overwrite. I'm not even sure why it keeps creating these output .wav files. I don't want them. And I can't find any explanation as to what Nullsoft Disk Writer is for. All I know is that I certainly don't have this kind of problem with Windows Media Player. |

it converts your files to wav files.
you should be using directsound(which is the default output plugin) stop winamp preferences(ctrl+p)--> output --> highlight 'nullsoft directsound output'. close and restart playback. you wouldn't be able to hear anything if your using the disk writer plugin unless you have an output stacker plugin(unsupported here). make sure you delete all the unwanted wav files, as they might be eating up your hard disk space. |
