SHOUTcast Hosting

I'd like to know if there are any shoutcast hosting plans for unlimited listeners/bitrates for around $30 per month.

I currently have ServerRoom's plan and would prefer a dedicated server.

Another question. Is there a way to host shoutcast on a VPS?

And does anyone know of any dedicated servers for under $40 per month? I found a lot of $50 but not $40.

Thanks.

If $40 if impossible, than how is $50?

This is sad!

Oh yeah! Here's the $50 hosts ones.

I don't see dedicated on ipowerweb..

Server4you: 700GB Bandwidth Included
aplus: 1000 GB Monthly Transfer

Unlimited always has limits.

yeah, i'm back.

That's enough for me!

Ipowerweb was the first that had $49 so I think.

Here's the link.

Those are actually pretty decent prices, just take heed of the bandwidth usage on the packages. 500 gb a month is not much - 1000 - 1500 gb is enough to possibly host from 50 - 150 listeners depending on your bitrate.

In all honesty those deals are pretty damn good.

quality of the network and hardware is important for shoutcast and that value is not included with each plan =)

Hi

RadioGalore has just launched server hosting.

It is 24/7 hosting and can support 30 listeners at 48kbps (stereo).

per month it is £15 a month

Yeah and it sounds like a pretty crappy service, and it's not even relevant to what he needs.
