Winamp only xfers one song to ipod then stops

Everything worked great before this.

All of a sudden, if I select 10 songs to put on the iPod, it'll xfer one, then stop. The rest of the songs say "Waiting".

If I try to eject the iPod, it says "Syncronization in progress".

I've restored my iPod 5 times so far and keep getting the same issue.

I'm running 5.24 in winamp and 1.4.1 on my iPod mini.

I've tried this with 2 songs, 3 songs, 100 songs... it' only does one. I've tried different songs to make sure there wasn't an issue with the mp3.

I've got nothing... I haven't changed anything. I've waited over 2 hours once and it still never moved to the next song.

plz2hlpme

Ok.

So, even if I try to transfer just ONE song... it says "done", but I still can't eject iPod, which means I have to just remove it... then it shows that there are no songs on it. WTF?

Reinstalled Winamp and now it works.

Weird but true.

Whatever. Thanks anyway, folks.

It seems that if I've already got a bunch of music on the iPod, I can add music no problem.

BUT, if I were to delete all the iPod from within Winamp, and try to load new music onto it... that's when I have the problem.

The only way I've been able to fix it is to open up iTunes, add about 300 songs, then open up winamp to manage the iPod from there.

Any thoughts on this behaviour?

solution: use (sourceforge) winamp plugin for ipod

http://www.digg.com/apple/Winamp_plu...iTunes_forever

http://www.mlipod.com/index.php

when you install it it will uninstall winamp's own portable device plugin, as they can't exist together

it works very well, and actually recognises your ipod as an 'ipod' in the media library, the 'send to' will also show your 'ipod'

so far so good,

other software which support transfer to ipod is ephpod
http://www.ephpod.com/download.shtml but haven't tried it as i like to stick with winamp

goodluck
