While Winamp is not running, open/edit the Winamp.ini file (located in the Winamp folder). Look for the RecentURL lines and delete the unwanted URLs to the right of the equal sign or delete the unwanted RecentURL entries them selves. Save Winamp.ini.

If you have multi-user setup for Winamp 5, Winamp.ini may be located at C:\Documents and Settings\UserName\Application Data\Winamp. The Application Data folder is hidden by default, so you may need to checkmark "show hidden files/folders" in: Control Panel > Folder Options > View tab

BTW, the current version of Winamp is 5.32 (as of this reply), please update.

Please do not PM me for tech support. Any request for tech support through PM will be ignored.

I'll update my ClearProg plug-in, so that the URL will be deleted too.

If Koopatrooper has had time to update ClearProg, apparently the download page have not been updated yet. If, like me, you can't wait any longer you can update it by adding the following "plug-in" to ClearProg...

Copy the following text...

[Winamp - Delete Open URL box list]
Info=Deletes the URL list in Winamp's Open URL box
Var1=HKEY_CURRENT_USER|Software\Winamp|(Standard)
IniFile1=$Var1$\Winamp.ini|Winamp|RecentURL*

Then while in ClearProg, select Extras > PlugIns > Open PligIn-File from the menu.

Notepad will open, respectively paste the copied text and save the file before exiting Notepad.

At this point I would suggest to close & restart ClearPorg to ensure it recognizes the addition to the plug-ins file.

Before using the newly added plugin, you will need to activate it first. While in ClearProg, select Extras > PlugIns > Select Plug-ins > then checkmark 'Winamp - Delete Open URL box list' > press the 'Activate' button

To use the plugin, highlight 'selected PlugIns' from the left plane and make sure 'Winamp - Delete Open URL box list' is checkmarked in the right plane. Then click the Clear button.

Note: It works for me, but use at your own risk. Also, the above does not mean that Winamp Forums provides support for ClearProg. It was provided as a helpful FYI.

Sorry for the lack of feedback, I've just updated my ClearProg plug-in

The updated plug-in will be bundled with new Clearprog version.

It will delete the list of the last opened URLs with multiple profiles too.

Thanks JM.

If you cannot wait for the next release, then simply copy the updated ini file in your ClearProg folder.

It isn't updated yet, but don't ask me, when there will be a new version, I made tons of CP plug-ins, the CP installer, the Downloadspeed Help file and I am moderator in their forum, but I'm not the author of the program.

Sven is very busy at moment.
