Winamp 5.32 wont shut down

Trying to shut down winamp only hides it from the screen, leaving the process running. I couldn't care less about it but trying to open new file in winamp (starts another winamp process) ends up crashing explorer (the window i try to open the file from).
It's really annoying to ctrl+alt+del winamp every single time.

I've had this problem now with 5.31 and 5.32.
I use winamp full with classic look, without video support and with WMP8.

Cannot reproduce. Might be a dodgy third party pluging not letting Winamp close properly.

Try a full uninstall and reinstall. And if the issue persists, post full system specs (including a HJT log and List of Plugins).

after reinstalling winamp shuts down properly, but after few seconds of 99% CPU usage. Is this normal?
