SkyNet skin

SkyNet is almost ready (it's here), but there is one thing left to do: remove vertical slider tail in playlist.
When you move slider in playlist it lefts the tail, and i dont have any idea of what is this. I need some help with this.
And of-course i'd like to know what do you think about this skin, Maybe there is something else left to do.

well, putting aside that you should've permisson to make a Terminator3 skin, this is SkinFactory skin port, innit? Do you have THEIR permission?

You cannot take other people's work and redistribute it, modified or not modified, without the original author's permission. Original is here: http://www.theskinsfactory.com/skins...ortfolio&id=77. You need C2 and TSF's permission, but I highly doubt you will get it.

I think all you're going to get is trouble considering you are already distributing this here and on your website.

Well, i was not going to publish it. I made it for my personal use initially, but then i decided to put it on my site ... and it was a mistake. i've removed skin itself today, and now going to remove pages associated with it.
This skin is the best of all skins i've seen before. But i guess nobody exept me will use it.

I know it's bad, two weeks ago i found one of my programs published on the servers i've never heard about. and i didn't like it very much 'cuz there was not even a link to my site.

It's not a matter of what the people want, it's a matter of what the author wants to do with thier work. You can email them if you want to try to get permission.

I don't know, maybe legal trouble, maybe a spanking, maybe they'll just egg your house, I have no idea. But you did take thier work and distribute it in violation of thier copyrights, so they have options. Depends on how far they want to push it, if at all.

since i don't know what to write in the email for permission (i mean i can't just write "would you mind if i'll distribute your skin?") i'll continue developing my new game "Battle City Pro"...
And maybe someday i'll be back...

Here i'll answer your question so your head doesn't explode... No. you do not have permission to display the skin in any way, shape or form. I don't care how long it took you to port it from our skin. What really makes me sick is how you try to pass this off as your work by not mentioning it was a port of our skin to begin with. How lame can you be? You have zero permission to port our skins. No one does.

Jesh relax a little bit. He know it was a stupid idea, he took it away and everything. So everything is settled now. You should be flattered that everyone wants to port your incredible skins

In the other thread of this forum i mentioned that it was not originally designed by me, and in this thread i just wanted to ask about solution for this damn scroller. it's hard to describe it, so i put skin on my site just to show the problem.

i'll definitely stop distributing it (i've allready stopped). though i'd like to see official winamp version of SkyNet skin, ported by SkinFactory.
