Plugin for Jazler

I`m using jazzler and there are no need to plug ins, just put your soudcard inpud instead of winamp recommended.
its work fine...

Hello,

For Jazler you can use any standalone encoder like Simplecast, Edcast, etc ....
You take in encoder audio signal from Soundcard and that is... you can stream.
I recommend Edcast Standalone version because you can take Metadata in real time from NowOnAir.txt to display on listeners player the song title and artist.

I want to set this up but I am lost by the manual, tech support are no good from jazler, dispite buying into there product.

They take 4 days plus per email response.

You got already answer for your question. You need to research little to understand how works DSP plugins with Jazler or standalone streaming encoders.

Example: Edcast Winamp DSP encoder (http://code.google.com/p/edcast-reborn/)

You have to add on Jazler DSP plugins and to enable and lunch from Jazler settings (this functions are available on Jazler RS2).

It's very simple to use together with Jazler RS2, just research and learn little how to set. SHOUTcast DSP is not compatible with Jazler RS2 because can be lunch only from Winamp (i do not understand this limitation but it is there)

it's because for the best experience of the Source DSP in Winamp it needs to use specific Winamp features which is fully reasonable when the plug-in was only ever meant to be used in Winamp (yes i probably could add in a load of legacy workarounds to make it run in 3rd party / old Winamp installs but that's just a waste of my time as it's still targetting a 5+ year old Winamp for most of the API requirements). if 3rd party products replicated the newer Winanmp API the plug-in uses then it would be able to work in them.

how can u take the metadata from jazler??

i want t use jazler n i follow some advices but i cant display the onairtext, i dont even know what i have to do, i enabled it from my shoutcast settings n it works fine with edcast only if i put manually the title n the song but thats not a solution i want automatically, if anyone knows whats wrong let me know, thank u

Yo tengo la solucion si alguien la necesita aun ,

Con Edcast y Con Butt

Con Butt
1) Instala Butt configura su server normal, ip, puerto pass, y Stream Copia la Ruta de la carpeta de exports de Jazzler
en mi caso al estar en red seria asi

//Cabina-pc/jazler radiostar 2.9/Exports/NowOnAir.txt

En Modo local en la misma computadora seria

C:\Jazler RadioStar 2.9/Exports/NowOnAir.txt

y ponen la ruta ahi y listo


Con edcast es casi igual, por si no quieren usar, winamp + plugins
